Polluted soils

Almadius is an expert in polluted soil management .

We carry out soil studies to determine if your plot is polluted. If pollution thresholds are exceeded, we carry out additional studies to delineate and understand the mechanisms of pollution and perform risk assessments. We carry out feasibility study in order to design remediation projects or optimize the studies if necessary.
We also carry out site supervision , sampling and validation of remediation.
We produce investigations reports, research reports for the Promaz fund or Immediate Management Measures in the event of a chance discovery of pollution.
We carry out environmental and Due Diligence audits to quantify and manage soil pollution issues in the event of sales and acquisition.
We also offer Project Management Assistance missions to support and optimise the management of your projects/portfolios on polluted sites and soils.

Management of excavated soil and RQT

During projects that involve land movements in Wallonia, we produce the Land Quality Report (RQT) which we submit to Walterre. This is based on soil samples in place or in soil piles, according to the methodologies defined in the GRGT (Reference Guide relating to Land Management). We then offer solutions for managing the excavated soil based on the results obtained in the report: choice of outlet, monitoring of soil in the treatment center, etc.

Groundwater

We offer our services for the management of groundwater and groundwater remediation on polluted sites, sizing of catchment wells, identification of catchment prevention zones for drinking water, management of construction site groundwater, hydrogeological modeling.
